As 2020 begins, all of us have resolutions to achieve more dreams. Robin Yenk, Chief Executive Officer of RMJ Benefits Group, is no exception. She has high expectations for her profession as a Medicare Specialist providing education and enrollment for all forms of health insurance for groups and individuals, including Medicare Supplement and Advantage plans. As a pre-requisite to offering Medicare, she undergoes rigorous testing annually to maintain her Medicare Specialist designation.
Robin’s standards are just as high for her personal life. Robin has battled cancer for most of her adult life as a daughter, as a mother, and as a woman. Starting with her mother’s early death, then her daughter’s brain cancer at 15 years old, and then her own bout with breast cancer. Despite receiving extensive chemo and radiation treatment, Robin did not stop her active and productive lifestyle. She continued to go to the office and work every day and did not miss a single CrossFit workout at the gym. Her grit and courage are an inspiration to others. She is as an example on how to keep on going and living your life though it may feel impossible to.
Robin is the consummate professional. She was Vice President of Corporate Services for 25 years at Lehman Brothers, a global financial services firm and the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States before filing for bankruptcy in 2008. Like so many affected by the 2008 financial crisis, Robin’s career at Lehman Brothers came to a sudden end. Following her departure from Lehman, Robin transitioned careers to Insurance Benefits and took on the personal goal of finding the right options for companies in need of benefits. In 2009 she joined Diversified Financial Services Group, Inc. specializing in Employee Benefits for firms of all sizes. Expanding on her vision, Robin recently moved from Diversified Financial Services Group, Inc. and has launched RMJ Benefits Groups. She feels strongly that it is her personal goal to help provide and choose the right benefit plans for your employees, your family or yourself.
In her present position at RMJ Benefits Group, she is a visionary in the benefits business and helps people enjoy life by offering an affordable solution to health care. Strong business values are at the core of all her business relationships. To her, they are what business stands for, its philosophy and her reason for being a professional. She is known for her high ethical standards and enjoys a strong reputation among her clients and competitors for her exceptional business knowledge. Her clients credit her for having a “customer-first” and “can-do attitude” addressing today’s skyrocketing healthcare costs.
“Since our inception, RMJ Benefit Group stays committed to continually working together with our clients and partners to customize and deliver the right benefit plan(s) for each of our clients. Along with our partners, we analyze key plan elements such as coverage levels, employee contributions, premiums and physicians currently used to ensure that employees receive the level of coverage they have grown to expect, while keeping premium costs down. We also provide complete enrollment support from comprehensive enrollment material to on-site employee presentations to help you launch your new plans company wide. At renewal time, we will take the time to provide extensive alternatives to keep your client’s benefit plan within their benefit needs and budget goals,” Robin explained.
